Honda has launched a new all-electric brand called “Ignite” (烨), with plans to introduce six new models in the future.

At the brand’s launch event, Honda officially introduced its new all-electric brand called “Ignite” (烨), announcing plans to launch six models by 2027.

Ignite features a newly developed electric vehicle platform tailored to meet the needs of Chinese consumers and will be the first to use the new “H” logo.

The “Ignite GT” concept car revealed at the launch showcases a highly dynamic design, featuring electronic mirrors, electric doors, and an illuminated Ignite brand H logo.

It’s noteworthy that the vehicle’s design was independently developed by a Chinese research and development team, with significant involvement from Chinese suppliers, including battery technology from CATL, smart cockpit solutions from Huawei, and voice control technology from iFLYTEK.
