Director Peter Chan’s new film “Jiangyuan Nong” announced its full cast today, and the lineup can be described as extensive.

According to media reports, the film is adapted from one of the four major sensational cases of the Republic of China, the “Jiangyuan Nong Husband Murder Case”, depicting the fate and transformation of a legendary woman against the backdrop of a significant era, revealing vivid life stories behind the case.
It is also reported that “Jiangyuan Nong” has been selected for a special screening at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, in the non-competitive category.
