The Korean magazine responded to IGN France’s evaluation of Starblade: “This physique exists in reality.”

Before, we reported on IGN France’s editor-in-chief’s astonishing comments regarding “Starblade,” stating that the design of the protagonist “Eva” is killing women. Recently, the Korean fashion and lifestyle magazine “MAXIM KOREA” released a video responding to the controversial comments made by IGN France about “Starblade.” “MAXIM KOREA” stated, “We have decided to release photos and videos of model Shin Ah-eun, who portrayed the body model for the character ‘Eva’ in Starblade, and prove to people around the world that this kind of physique is real and not an exaggerated portrayal in the game itself.”

Social media blogger Krerart also commented, “MAXIM KOREA has 1.1 million subscribers, and their aesthetics are conquering the West. They are mocking us, thinking we don’t appreciate beautiful women’s bodies. Even if Shin Ah-eun didn’t serve as the body model in ‘Starblade,’ she is still a queen.”

Krerart then shared a screenshot from MAXIM KOREA’s video (captioned screenshot: “Can a character modeled after a real human body be called unrealistic?”) with a wry smile.
