Sohu founder, chairman, and CEO Zhang Chaoyang led netizens on a slow run around the Forbidden City through the Sohu Video app’s “Follow the Stream” feature, continuing his daily 5-kilometer live runs in anticipation of the Sohu Video Creator Conference on April 21.
During the live stream, Zhang Chaoyang started from the Donghua Gate of the Forbidden City, passing by famous Beijing landmarks such as the moat, Nanluoguxiang, and the corner towers. “Five kilometers every day, without interruption, until the creator conference.” While running, Zhang Chaoyang encountered a billboard for the “Sohu Video Creator Conference” and took a photo with it.
Previously, Zhang Chaoyang mentioned during a live stream, “Originally, it was to prepare for the conference on the 21st, but as I kept running, it turned into a running program itself.” To prepare for the Sohu Video “Follow the Stream” meetup, Zhang Chaoyang has been livestreaming his 5-kilometer runs every day. The series “Zhang Chaoyang’s Exercise Class” has aired twelve episodes, featuring locations such as Olympic Forest Park, Fragrant Hills, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, and Badaling.
