OPPO recently launched the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition, offering a storage configuration of 16GB+1TB at a price of 7499 yuan.
Now, this new device has arrived in our testing room, and below, we bring you a visual overview.
The OPPO Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition is not only the world’s first smartphone to support dual-mode satellite calls with both the receiver and speaker, but it is also the industry’s first smartphone to support 5.5G mobile communication.
Compared to the regular version, the satellite communication edition has minimal changes in appearance design and core parameters, mainly adding satellite communication functionality.
Thanks to satellite antenna direction diagram adjustment technology, the device supports both receiver and hands-free dual-mode satellite calls, allowing users to place the phone next to their ear just like making a regular phone call without needing a special angle or posture.
For signal considerations, smartphones that support satellite calls generally only provide “hands-free” mode. Although it can avoid obstruction to satellite signal transmission and reception caused by the human body, it feels a bit like using a walkie-talkie during calls and is not very natural.
It’s worth mentioning that the OPPO Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition also debuts 5.5G communication, with the official claim of “the highest network rate increase of up to 300%, leading the way into the ten-gigabit mobile network.”
In terms of core configuration, the device features a 6.82-inch curved screen with a resolution of 3168×1440, powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 chipset, and supports 100W wired fast charging.
In terms of imaging, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Edition is equipped with a 1-inch dual periscope quad-camera setup, supporting ultra-clear telephoto, RAW MAX, and full focal range 4K 60fps Dolby Vision shooting.
