At today’s Baidu AI Developer Conference, Li Yanhong announced a series of major news, including that the user base and daily API usage of Wenyi Yiyan have reached 200 million. He also mentioned that the reasoning cost is reduced to 1% of the previous level, and predicted that future large-scale AI native applications will be based on collaborative work between small and large models.
However, according to Xiao Lei, the most important aspect of this conference was that Li Yanhong, or Baidu, shared a story of “everyone is a developer.”
Not only did they release three major development tools, AgentBuilder, ModelBuilder, and AppBuilder, targeting developers with different needs, but Li Yanhong also shared Baidu’s accumulated experience in AI development, including examples and strategies for creating intelligent agents, application development, and model fine-tuning.
To foster the development of the AI development ecosystem, Li Yanhong announced the official launch of the second Wenyi Cup Entrepreneurship Competition, with a special prize of 50 million RMB.
