Three-year sales target of 1.2 trillion! JD.com and Lenovo upgrade strategic cooperation.

JD.com and Lenovo have signed a new strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, focusing on the industrial opportunities brought by large-scale models and generative AI technology, JD.com and Lenovo will deepen strategic cooperation in areas such as AI marketing, intelligent supply chain, and AI technology integration, collaborating to provide full-stack AI products, solutions, and services to a wider range of users.

The two parties have set a clear goal for Lenovo to achieve 1.2 trillion yuan in total sales through JD.com’s omni-channel platform over the next three years. They will also be each other’s pioneering partners in AI PCs, jointly building an AI terminal industry ecosystem to accelerate the adoption of AI devices like AI PCs.

Specifically, the cooperation will focus on three main aspects:

  1. Deep collaboration around Lenovo’s full-stack AI products, solutions, and services, including AI PCs, AI smartphones, AI tablets, AIoT devices, AI-driven infrastructure such as servers and storage, as well as AI-native solution services like device support and intelligent operation and maintenance services.
  2. Mutual pioneers in AI PCs, accelerating the popularization of AI PCs. Lenovo will actively participate in JD.com’s “AI Upgrade Acceleration Plan,” “New Product Early Access Program,” and “Special Support Plan for Trade-In of Old Products.” They will strengthen cooperation in product development, marketing, and channel expansion. Together with JD.com’s AI Upgrade Acceleration Plan, they will provide enhanced trade-in subsidies and comprehensive service experiences, helping users reduce costs associated with trying out and upgrading AI products, thus making generative AI hardware accessible to every user on JD.com.
  3. Co-building an AI terminal industry ecosystem to create a more sophisticated AI application experience. JD Retail and Lenovo Tianxi ecosystem will collaborate to provide users with a more intelligent and open AI application ecosystem experience through ecological co-construction.
