The most profitable expressway enterprise for the year 2023 has been revealed.
According to the latest annual financial report released by CCCC Highways, the company achieved an operating income of 9.73 billion yuan and a net profit of 6.76 billion yuan in 2023, representing a growth of 39.19% compared to the previous year.
It is noteworthy that CCCC Highways became the first expressway listed company with an annual net profit exceeding 6 billion yuan, averaging around 564 million yuan in net profit per month.
According to company data, as of the end of 2023, CCCC Highways’ total investment and operation mileage reached 14,745 kilometers, covering 22 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government.
Additionally, under the management of CCCC Highways, there are a total of 26 toll road projects with a total management mileage of 2,008 kilometers, distributed in 15 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government.
From the financial report, it can be observed that in 2023, the traffic volume on the sections controlled by CCCC Highways reached 1.2 billion vehicle trips, with toll revenue totaling 6.09 billion yuan, representing increases of 24.5% and 14.9% respectively compared to the same period last year.
