The latest announcement from the Southern Theater Command of China: Joint live-fire exercises conducted on our side of the China-Myanmar border.
Colonel Tian Junli, spokesperson for the People’s Liberation Army Air Force in the Southern Theater Command, stated that in accordance with the annual training plan, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Southern Theater Command organized army and air force units to conduct joint live-fire exercises on our side of the China-Myanmar border starting from April 2nd. The aim is to test the rapid mobility, precise destruction, three-dimensional control, and joint strike capabilities of the theater’s forces. The theater’s forces are always prepared to respond to various emergencies and are determined to safeguard national sovereignty, border stability, and the safety of people’s lives and property.
