The Xiaomi router BE5000 Wi-Fi 7 is currently available for sale, priced at 279 yuan.
Reportedly, the Xiaomi router BE5000 Wi-Fi 7 supports concurrent dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz with a wireless rate of 5011 Mbps, marking a 68% increase in throughput compared to Wi-Fi 6 and a 48% increase in Wi-Fi 6 rate.
Moreover, the Wi-Fi 7 protocol’s MLO dual-band aggregation technology allows a single device to connect to two frequency bands simultaneously, resulting in further aggregated rate improvement and enhanced stability. When paired with terminals supporting 4K QAM technology, the theoretical rate is 20% higher compared to 1024 QAM technology.
In terms of hardware, it employs a 6nm high-performance Wi-Fi 7 wireless chip, offering lower power consumption, more stable operation, and support for a greater number of connected devices. The 5GHz band utilizes a three-antenna design, combined with MediaTek’s exclusive intelligent encoding method, resulting in a fourfold improvement in signal resolution capability and a 4.5-meter increase in effective coverage distance.
For connectivity, the product features Xiaomi’s automation technology, allowing smartphone connections to trigger smart home linkage conditions. It also supports Xiaomi One-click Connection, enabling new devices throughout the house to connect to the network without passwords, with password changes automatically synchronized. The product supports various networking methods, including wired/wireless hybrid networking, with support for up to 10 devices in a network.
Additionally, the Xiaomi router BE5000 Wi-Fi 7 features one 2.5Gbps WAN port and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. The 2.5Gbps WAN port supports up to 2000Mbps broadband access, while all ports support port aggregation and customizable functions, facilitating connections to high-speed NAS or other wired devices.
